Buy Back of Service

Councillors who have previous actual service, can purchase pensionable service in the Fund, subject to the conditions stipulated below:

• Only current and future members of the Fund
• Can only be at the current salary
• Repayment period is up to 24 months @ interest rate of 15% OR Lump sum without interest
• Can only buy-back actual service
• All this is subject to council approval
